The practical answer

HOLT5202BJ1 is a specific two-drawer table, not a description of every 52-inch Husky workbench. Check both its working position and where it will live when your vehicle returns.

On narrow screens, scroll the table sideways. Manufacturer facts are distinguished from our planning guidance below.

Match the model before comparing offers

This guide concerns the white Husky HOLT5202BJ1 two-drawer adjustable work table. The linked use-and-care guide explicitly covers that model alongside HOLT5202B11. Retailer descriptions, colors and similar-width tables can refer to different configurations.

Record the model number, drawer count, included base options and seller before comparing price. A drawerless table may be a good alternative, but it does not replace the same amount of storage. We have not assembled or personally used this bench and do not give it a performance rating.

What the model-specific manual establishes

The manual lists 300 pounds maximum capacity, 15 pounds for the upper drawer and 35 pounds for the lower drawer. It provides both caster and leveling-foot configurations. These separate limits should not be added together to invent a larger permitted load.

It instructs users to transport the product empty, close and lock drawers before moving, and set caster brakes except when moving. A rolling base is therefore not permission to move an unfinished loaded project around the car. Follow the current manual supplied with the exact unit, including assembly and leveling instructions.

Draw two footprints before buying

Draw the working position and the position used while the car is parked. Measure the selected table’s complete depth and projections from its current drawing, including access to drawers and the height-adjustment crank. The name “52-inch” establishes neither its storage footprint nor the width of the aisle beside it.

Tape the turning route between positions. Include steps, slopes, door thresholds and anything normally left on the floor. If the route only works with the car outdoors, decide whether that is acceptable for every work session. A storage position that blocks the house door is not a successful parking solution.

The unfinished-project test

List what typically stays on your bench at the end of a session. If clearing it would take more effort than the household will repeat, a folding top may not solve the problem. A fixed work zone can be more useful than a movable bench that becomes too inconvenient to relocate.

Try a temporary tabletop footprint for a few ordinary tasks before ordering. Rehearse opening a drawer while the car is parked and turning with a tool or project in hand. This tests the layout; it is not a substitute for the bench’s structural or installation requirements.

Compare complete workspaces rather than sale prices

For the Husky table, quote the exact model, delivery and assembly. For a folding alternative, add its prescribed attachment materials and the separate storage needed when folded. For a DIY frame, add lumber, finishing and the time required to build it.

Set a maximum completed-project budget before comparing offers. Reserve a portion for the parts not in the box. If two options serve different projects or store different quantities of tools, note that difference instead of labeling the lower sticker price a better value. Avoid paying for adjustability if the bench cannot be adjusted conveniently in its actual position.

Common questions

Can I move the bench with tools or a project on it?

The linked model manual specifies empty transport. Do not infer permission for loaded movement from the presence of casters.

Does this guide cover every 52-inch Husky table?

No. Verify the exact model and manual; drawer counts, included components and load limits can differ.

Check this in your garage

Use the vehicle calculator and operating-space example with verified dimensions for your selected configuration. Compare the folding alternative if the working position conflicts with the parked car.
