Calculator inputs and guide searches are processed in your browser and are not submitted by our site code. They are not automatically saved. Optional Google Analytics is used only after you allow it. No newsletter, comments, advertising, or user accounts are offered.

This page does not promise that the hosting platform collects no information.

Before adding email subscriptions, advertising, contact forms, or affiliate tracking, this policy must be updated to describe the services, data handling, retention, choices, and applicable rights. We will not silently turn a calculator into a lead-capture form.

Optional Google Analytics 4
We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-S2S65R9E9Y) only after you select Allow analytics. Before permission, or after declining, our site does not load the Google Analytics tag or send analytics requests. If allowed, Google processes usage and technical information such as visited pages, session activity, browser/device information, approximate location, and referral information. Our integration removes query strings and fragments from the page URL and sends only the referring origin. We do not send calculator input values, guide-search text, names, or email addresses as custom analytics events. Advertising storage, advertising user data, ad personalization, and Google signals are disabled by our integration. Analytics is not required to use any guide or calculator.
Cookies and your choice
The first-party _ga and _ga_* cookies distinguish browsers and sessions when analytics is allowed. Our integration sets a maximum cookie lifetime of 180 days without refreshing that expiry on each visit; browser restrictions may shorten it. A separate analytics preference is stored in your browser for up to 180 days, including when you decline. Use Analytics preferences in the footer to change your choice. Withdrawal disables further analytics through our integration and deletes accessible first-party Google Analytics cookies. It does not erase data already collected. Clearing browser storage removes the remembered choice. If storage is unavailable, permission applies only to the current page.
Data handling and requests
Google processes analytics information on our behalf and may process it outside your country. Cookie lifetime is separate from Google Analytics account retention settings; those settings govern event-data retention. Contact us with privacy questions or requests to access, correct, or delete information, or withdraw consent. Applicable rights depend on your location. We may need enough information to locate the relevant record and verify a request; analytics identifiers do not necessarily identify a person by name.
Email correspondence
If you email the publication, Yahoo Mail processes your message and address. We use correspondence to answer questions, investigate corrections, and handle privacy or accessibility requests. Do not send sensitive information or calculator measurements you do not want to share. Correspondence is kept as needed to resolve the inquiry and retain necessary records; no fixed deletion schedule is promised. We do not add correspondents to a marketing list without a separate opt-in.
